What is the Safety Council?

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) Division of Safety & Hygiene sponsors Safety Councils who all have the same goal - to increase safety awareness. The Ashtabula County Safety Council is one of 82 safety councils across the state organized to provide the Ashtabula County Community Business with quality programs addressing occupational safety and health, workers' compensation and risk management education and information. We inform participants about new techniques, products, and services, and provide a thorough knowledge of these services.

Mission Statement

The Ashtabula County Safety Council will provide a forum for information, education, and recognition to promote community health, safety and environmental awareness.
